Welcome to the Severn Postgraduate School of Surgery website. This is the way the surgical faculty will keep you up to date about training days, courses, recruitment, ARCP and RITA schedules as well as other useful and important information to keep you up to date with what is happening.

Every trainee in the School of Surgery is required to create a user account and password for this website. In the near future, your password will give you access to information and tools to help you communicate with your colleagues and with the school of surgery.  In the coming months we will be adding more content to these pages; please bookmark this site and check back on a regular basis to make sure you are fully up-to-date.

As part of the account setup process, you will asked to provide a contact email address and telephone number; these will be the school's primary media for communication with you.  It is very important that you keep these details up-to-date as you move around the different trusts and hospitals of the Severn Deanery.

Please note that because of our security policies, forgotten passwords cannot be recovered, but must be reset.  If you have forgotten your password, please reset it via the logon page.

Getting Started Please look at the followng document which gives you a brief introduction on how to register with the website and access all the areas. The site is divided into different areas, shown in the menu to the left of this page. Some areas, like the Trainee Noticeboard and the About Us pages are designed for everyone. Others are more specific to the different training programmes offered by the school and will require you to login (see above). If you are new to the programme, there is information about the hospitals and trusts of the Severn Deanery here, whilst information about the georgraphic area covered by the Deanery can be accessed here. In the coming months, the Professional Networking pages will provide you with the tools to communicate with your colleagues and to feedback to the school.
